Jonathan Walter | Keynote and Final Charge Speaker - Bold Unto the Throne | Seminar - Sacred Spaces: Building a Sanctuary-Inspired Marriage
Pastor Jonathan Walter, a native of Austria, is serving as Assistant Editor for the Adventist Review & Adventist World magazines at the General Conference of Seventh-day Adventists in Silver Spring, Maryland. He is also a member of the inVerse Bible Study show on Hope Channel, has served globally as a pastor, missionary, and evangelist, and has held various communications and leadership roles within the Seventh-day Adventist Church and supportive ministries.
Elvis Mogoi | Seminar - Prayer Life
Elvis Mogoi is a native of Kenya, and fell in love with studying and sharing the Bible in fifth grade. He migrated to the United States in 2003 for studies. In 2007 to 2009 he served as a program coordinator for minority male health at Lincoln University an assignment that focused on promoting healthy lifestyle among minority males as well as bridging the generation gap between the more seasoned men and the upcoming boys through mentoring. He joined the pastoral ministry in 2010 and has been serving for the past fourteen years in Wilmington, Delaware. He is married to Carolyn Mosomi-Mogoi who is a blessed partner in ministry. He is currently serving the West Wilmington and Life in Christ congregations. He has received training in Political Science from Lincoln University, PA and Pastoral Ministry from Andrews University, MI. His purpose in life is knowing more about God and making Him known to others. His hope in ministry is not found in God who is the author and finisher of our faith. His goal is to support in the molding of a community that exhibits love for one another and is prepared to spend eternity with God.
Elijah Ramjattan | Seminar - The effects of media on our relationships
Elijah serves as the Campus Ministries Director and Chaplain at Highland View Academy, where he has the privilege of guiding young hearts towards a deeper understanding of their faith. Originally hailing from the captivating land of Canada, he brings a unique perspective to his role. Graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Religious Studies from Weimar University, he has nurtured a solid foundation of knowledge and a burning passion for the Gospel. Throughout his life, youth ministry has been an integral part of his journey, firmly believing in the transformative power of investing in the next generation. This all would not be possible without the support of his wonderful wife, Jo-Anna.
Daniel Royo | Seminar - Sanctuary in relation to Missions
Daniel currently serves as the pastor of the Burnt Mills Seventh-day Adventist Church in Silver Spring, MD. He has served as a pastor for more than 20 years in Maryland and Virginia. Daniel completed a PhD in Biblical Studies from Faulkner University. He has an MDiv from Andrews University, and an undergraduate degree in theology from Southern Adventist University. He has published several articles, as well as a small group Bible study guide on the book of Daniel. Daniel enjoys reading, camping, and traveling. His wife Danielle is a social worker at Adventist HealthCare White Oak Medical Center. They have three children.
Dr. Zeno Charles Marcel | Seminar - Mental Health in Relation to Addiction
Zeno L. Charles-Marcel is privileged to serve God through caring for people as individuals and in organizations. His service is characterized by variety and personal challenge: medical practice, public health, healthcare administration, academia, private consulting, medical ministry, business and entrepreneurship, NGO work, media and public speaking, writing, research, innovation, disaster relief and medical missionary work. He engaged in formative studies at four universities: McGill (Biophysics), Howard (Medicine) and Loma Linda (Internal Medicine residency) and the University of Arizona (Leadership and Health Diplomacy). He is a lifelong learner at the foot of the cross and through formal and informal courses selected to “improve his service. He co-founded the first academic Lifestyle Medicine Fellowship in the US, and has served as a medical missionary in India, the Middle East, and Latin America. He has learned a lot from serving in administrative leadership in US governmental and denominational systems, overseas mission hospitals, lifestyle centers and academic programs. He is a former Dean of Health Sciences at Montemorelos University and holds adjunct faculty appointments at three universities.
